Welcome to HeroesForKids.co.uk and its affiliates provide access to the HeroesForKids.co.ukwebsite (the "website") and sell our products to you subject to the conditions set out on this page.
Delivery & Payment Information
Our delivery services are detailed below. For security reasons, orders over £75 will only be shipped to the billing address provided.
(A) Standard 3-5 working day delivery.
This is a trackable and signed for delivery, delivered in 24 working hours (excluding weekends & Bank Holidays)
(D) 48 Hour Express Delivery
This is a trackable and signed for delivery, delivered in 48 working hours (excluding weekends & Bank Holidays)
Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 working hours, so should arrive with you within 2-4 days, though we quote 3-5 in case of busy periods, and up to 7 at peak times i.e. Christmas. Please note we cannot pass on delivery instructions for any of our delivery services (i.e. leaving the parcel with a neighbour) to our couriers as we use third party couriers. If you cannot be at your address to receive your parcel, please specify an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to accept delivery. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused if the parcel has been attempted to be delivered within the time stated but no one is available to receive it.
Please note that all edible & personalised items, such as edible cake toppers/decorations are non returnable/refundable.
Please read these conditions carefully before using the Heroes for Kids website. By using the HeroesForKids.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.
Our rights to cancel orders.
We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. Possible reasons for cancellation include, but are not limited to the following:
Potentially fraudulent order. Before shipping orders, we run a check to make sure they are legitimate. If the check fails, we may cancel your order.
Incorrect pricing. Despite our efforts, a small number of the products in our catalogue could be mispriced or their weight wrongly recorded. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices and weights as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price or the shipping cost is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch and/or additional payment, or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Non-Payment .If payment is not received within a reasonable amount of time (currently 30 days) after the order has been placed, we may cancel an order without notice.
Conditions Relating to Your Use of HeroesForKids.co.uk
1. Your Account
You may use the HeroesForKids.co.uk without setting up an account. However, if you do wish to set up an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner.
HeroesForKids.co.uk reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

Heroes For Kids Ltd is registered with the Data Protection act (Reg. No PZ8738382) to ensure that all of our customer information is protected at all times and your privacy maintained. We would like to notify you by email of new offers that we may have. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive such emails. Heroes for Kids Ltd will not pass on any customer information to third parties. Acceptance of this Privacy Notice governs your visit to HeroesForKids.co.uk.
3. Access to HeroesForKids.co.uk
We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the contents of the website without HeroesForKids.co.uk's express written consent. In particular, you may not copy images, utilise any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (whether once or many times) for re-utilisation of any substantial parts of this website, without HeroesForKids.co.uk’s express written consent. Conditions Relating to the Sale of Products to You
This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of products by HeroesForKids.co.uk to you.
9. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from CharacterToys.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. We aim to have all goods available from stock. Should there be any issues relating to availability or delays you will be notified by email within 7 working days.
10. Returns
Under no circumstances will we accept returns that smell of smoke, have been used, are marked in any way or have pet hairs on them. All goods must be returned in the condition they were delivered with any sealed packaging intact.
Items which are not covered under our Faulty Goods Policy are returned at your own cost and you must obtain proof of posting. We recommend using a Recorded or Special Delivery service to ensure that the cost of the goods you are returning is covered in the event of postal loss or damages in transit. All monies will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the returned item(s).
11. Faulty Goods
If within reasonable time a product is found to be faulty, you will be offered either a refund or replacement. These goods should be returned to us so that we can submit them to the relevant manufacturers for a manufacturers report. Please call us to obtain a returns code before returning any item. This will help us to deal with your enquiry promptly. A refund or replacement will only be offered if the manufacturers report deems the item faulty. We will also reimburse you for the cost of returning the item should it be determined as faulty.
All returned items are quality checked and acceptance of the returned item as faulty is determined by the result of the manufacturers report.
Please note that general wear and tear is not covered by our faulty returns policy. Goods damaged in the post are also not covered under this section. Please see our 'Goods damaged in transit' policy.
12. General Returns/Cancellation
We will accept returns for a full refund within 7 days beginning the day after the day on which you received the goods. Items returned after this period and up to 28 days from the delivery will be allowed either an exchange (1) or a credit note (2). Returns cannot be accepted after this period has expired. Postage and packaging charges will apply for the sending of exchange items or future orders purchased with a credit note (3). General returns are not eligible for a refund of the postage and packaging charge for the cost of returning the item to us.
Problems with deliveries
13. Lost parcels:
All our parcels are clearly labelled with a delivery and return address label. Unless you have chosen one of our signed for services(4) we cannot track your parcel. If your parcel is undelivered within the period stated in our delivery information from the date of your order, you should first contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding it.
If your parcel has still not arrived or been returned to us within a 14 working days (UK) or 28 working days (International), we can either redispatch the item(s) or issue a credit note(2) to the full value of your order.
We can only issue a refund for a lost item if it is returned to us (please also see our policy on returned parcels below).
14. Goods damaged in transit:
If your parcel is damaged in transit we will replace the item free of charge. We will require proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim.
Returned Parcels
15. Insufficient address details:
Parcels which cannot be delivered due to incorrect or insufficient address details (6) provided on your order and are returned to us incur a £5 handling charge. You will also be eligible for the cost of us resending the parcel(3). Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and items refunded minus the original postage and packaging charge and the £5 handling charge.
16. Uncollected Parcels:
Royal Mail and Business Post will leave a note if you are not there to receive the parcel. It is your responsibility to call either company to arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel. Parcels returned to us marked as 'Not called for' will incur a £5 handling charge. You will also be eligible for the cost of us resending the parcel(3). Parcels will only be resent once these charges have been met. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded minus the original postage and packaging charge and the £5 handling charge.
(1) The exchange item(s) cannot exceed the cost of the returned item
(2) Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. You will not be eligible for change in cash should you not use the whole credit
note. Change will be issued as a new credit note.
(3) Charged at our standard rate of £3.95 (subject to change) for UK customers. International customers please call us for a quote.
(4) Royal Mail First Class Signed For or Express Delivery service (UK customers) or Airmail Signed For (International Customers)
(5) We cannot make a claim until 15 days have passed since the sending of the parcel. Parcels marked as 'Addressee gone away', 'Not known at this address'; (6) 'Insufficient/incomplete address' are counted under this classification
17. Refused Parcels
Should you need to refuse a parcel for any reason, please contact us in advance to obtain authorization. Business Post parcels refused, will be charged to us at cost of £20.00. If prior authorization has not been given, this charge will be deducted from the cost of the retuned items.
18. Pricing and availability
We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, including on each product information page. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Pre-ordered items will always specify an approximate delivery time. Pre-orders are subject to receiving payment at the time of the order in order to reserve the item for you. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.

When ordering goods from HeroesForKids.co.uk for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from CharacterToys.co.uk, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

20. Children
HeroesForKids.co.uk does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use HeroesForKids.co.uk only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
21. Electronic communications
When you visit HeroesForKids.co.uk or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
22. Losses
HeroesForKids.co.uk will not be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of us breaching these conditions if the losses were reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website, or a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. HeroesForKids.co.uk does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty or caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
23. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Conditions of Use & Sale at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Conditions of Conditions of Use & Sale in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
24. Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
25. Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

International Services - Prices vary by weight
To calculate the cost of your overseas delivery, simply place the items that you require in the chopping basket and select your delivery destination country from the drop down box above the checkout. Your delivery fee will then be calculated and displayed, based on the weight of goods in your basket.
Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets
Advised Delivery times are:
Airmail Small Packets to Europe 5-7 Days
Airmail Small Packets to countries outside Europe 14-28 Days.
Royal Mail Airmail Signed for Service
As per Royal Mails Airmail service, plus a signature will be obtained on delivery. Delivery standards vary in other countries, so we are unable to guarantee delivery times and we cannot provide a copy of the signature obtained on delivery.
Royal Mail Airsure Service - Premier
This is Royal Mail's accelerated Airmail service available to certain destinations only, for parcels up to 2kg. Royal Mail will put your mail on the first available flight to its country of destination and your Airsure item will be tracked electronically to the point of delivery. Use Trace & Trace on Royal Mail to find out when your item has been delivered. Although your items receive priority treatment, the Airsure service does not guarantee delivery times. Airsure can be up to one day faster than Airmail. Your item will receive priority handling at home and overseas and benefits from an online tracking facility so you can check your mail's progress along the way.
Overseas Parcels over 2Kg
We will despatch overseas parcels by International Courier, either by Road or Air Express. Delivery is normally within 7 working days.

Conditions Relating to the Sale of Products to You
This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of products by HeroesForKids.co.uk to you.
9. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from CharacterToys.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. We aim to have all goods available from stock. Should there be any issues relating to availability or delays you will be notified by email within 7 working days.
10. Returns
Under no circumstances will we accept returns that smell of smoke, have been used, are marked in any way or have pet hairs on them. All goods must be returned in the condition they were delivered with any sealed packaging intact.
Items which are not covered under our Faulty Goods Policy are returned at your own cost and you must obtain proof of posting. We recommend using a Recorded or Special Delivery service to ensure that the cost of the goods you are returning is covered in the event of postal loss or damages in transit. All monies will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the returned item(s).
11. Faulty Goods
If within reasonable time a product is found to be faulty, you will be offered either a refund or replacement. These goods should be returned to us so that we can submit them to the relevant manufacturers for a manufacturers report. Please call us to obtain a returns code before returning any item. This will help us to deal with your enquiry promptly. A refund or replacement will only be offered if the manufacturers report deems the item faulty. We will also reimburse you for the cost of returning the item should it be determined as faulty.
All returned items are quality checked and acceptance of the returned item as faulty is determined by the result of the manufacturers report.
Please note that general wear and tear is not covered by our faulty returns policy. Goods damaged in the post are also not covered under this section. Please see our 'Goods damaged in transit' policy.
12. General Returns/Cancellation
We will accept returns for a full refund within 7 days beginning the day after the day on which you received the goods. Items returned after this period and up to 28 days from the delivery will be allowed either an exchange (1) or a credit note (2). Returns cannot be accepted after this period has expired. Postage and packaging charges will apply for the sending of exchange items or future orders purchased with a credit note (3). General returns are not eligible for a refund of the postage and packaging charge for the cost of returning the item to us.
Problems with deliveries
13. Lost parcels:
All our parcels are clearly labelled with a delivery and return address label. Unless you have chosen one of our signed for services(4) we cannot track your parcel. If your parcel is undelivered within the period stated in our delivery information from the date of your order, you should first contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding it.
If your parcel has still not arrived or been returned to us within a 14 working days (UK) or 28 working days (International), we can either redispatch the item(s) or issue a credit note(2) to the full value of your order.
We can only issue a refund for a lost item if it is returned to us (please also see our policy on returned parcels below).
14. Goods damaged in transit:
If your parcel is damaged in transit we will replace the item free of charge. We will require proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim.
Returned Parcels
15. Insufficient address details:
Parcels which cannot be delivered due to incorrect or insufficient address details (6) provided on your order and are returned to us incur a £5 handling charge. You will also be eligible for the cost of us resending the parcel(3). Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and items refunded minus the original postage and packaging charge and the £5 handling charge.
16. Uncollected Parcels:
Royal Mail and Business Post will leave a note if you are not there to receive the parcel. It is your responsibility to call either company to arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel. Parcels returned to us marked as 'Not called for' will incur a £5 handling charge. You will also be eligible for the cost of us resending the parcel(3). Parcels will only be resent once these charges have been met. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded minus the original postage and packaging charge and the £5 handling charge.

note. Change will be issued as a new credit note.

(5) We cannot make a claim until 15 days have passed since the sending of the parcel. Parcels marked as 'Addressee gone away', 'Not known at this address'; (6) 'Insufficient/incomplete address' are counted under this classification
17. Refused Parcels
Should you need to refuse a parcel for any reason, please contact us in advance to obtain authorization. Business Post parcels refused, will be charged to us at cost of £20.00. If prior authorization has not been given, this charge will be deducted from the cost of the retuned items.
18. Pricing and availability
We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, including on each product information page. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Pre-ordered items will always specify an approximate delivery time. Pre-orders are subject to receiving payment at the time of the order in order to reserve the item for you. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
Despite our efforts, a small number of the products in our catalogue could be mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
19. International Customs
When ordering goods from HeroesForKids.co.uk for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from CharacterToys.co.uk, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Conditions Relating to Both Your Use of HeroesForKids.co.uk and Sales to You
20. Children
HeroesForKids.co.uk does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use HeroesForKids.co.uk only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
21. Electronic communications
When you visit HeroesForKids.co.uk or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
22. Losses
HeroesForKids.co.uk will not be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of us breaching these conditions if the losses were reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website, or a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. HeroesForKids.co.uk does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty or caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
23. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Conditions of Use & Sale at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Conditions of Conditions of Use & Sale in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
24. Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
25. Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
